THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE READ IN A BRITISH ACCENT:
After the four pals had eaten their shark teeth (which I must say was quite delicous), they headed back to their camp. There was, in fact, a second conversation that had taken place between the four pals and the children during theri shark-teeth eating. And at telling this part in the story, I have remembered their names. Their names were Flopsy, Mopsy, Topsy, Sopsy, Lopsy, Ropsy, Fopsy, Xopsy, and Lettuce. All of them were lovely children, that is, except Lettuce, who was a boy. An idiot boy, at that. No I'm joking, there's no way anyone would be able to tell the gender of that thing. Let's refer to it as a 'he.'
Presently, as they were eating their shark teeth down by the beach, the children followed them. Topsy asked them about what it was like to live in Alaska. Mr. Nugget answered proudly: "Oh yes, it's lovely. As small children like you un-learned things, our Uncle was eating by a bear. That's why we moved to Alaska and then we moved back to where we were. Then, we left New York and headed for the beach." A big and- I must say, quite disturbing smile was plastered across Mr. Nugget's face.
Meanwhile, Lettuce had been floating away in the water on a Queen/sized mattress. All the while shouting: "HELP ME!!!" Only now had the children noticed, but by then it was too late. Lettuce had reached the other side of Lake Michigan, and they could hear only hist faint, ghostly cries.
"Okay, have fun getting Lettuce back. " cousin Montgomery said, then she turned on her heel and left. The other pals followed behind her.
That night, as the four were trying to fall asleep, they heard the other children, which were disappointingly their camping neighbors, were screaming and screaming. Now cousin had had it. She marched toward them and cried, "We are trying to fall asleep here, because our minds and body need to reset but we can't do that because of your stupid dog!" Then she ran back to their tent. Well, it wasn't their dog, their dog was obviously sound asleep, but cousin didn't want to sound rude and blame the people. So she obviously blamed the dog.
That morning, the children were sound asleep. Probably due to their incredible lack of sleep before. So, while the four pals woke up bright and early, they began to sing. They sang loud and beautifully. Them harmonized each other so wonderfully. But that woke up the children. They actually weren't mad, but one of the children's parents (haha, they had to bring their parents along with them) came to the pals' campsite and asked them to sing for them. Of course, the pals consented, but they knew from then on that they would loathe those children forever. They sang stupid disney songs and the beautiful 'Hail Holy Queen' inspired by 'Sister Act' the movie. They also noticed that Lettuce was nowhere to be found.
After they were done singing, the children asked them their phone numbers. Now, the four pals burst into laughter. "You think we have phones??" Simba Mellark asked through tears of laughter, "I'm the only one here who actually knows what a phone is! That's because I used to sell them when we had no money." "Why would you not have phones?" Mopsy said through tears of confusion. "We have no internet in Alaska," cousin said. The children took a few steps away from them. "HOW DO YOU LIVE???" They cried. "We read," Mirag said. The children all began crying, screaming in absolute pity. "What do you people do all day? School?" Mirag asked them. "SCH-SCHOOOLLLL??? How- ? We watch movies and play games on our phones!" They cried back. "That explains it," cousin said, then the four pals said their goodbye's and said that they were much obliged to be acquainted with eachother, which of course, was certainly not true.
The pals never saw the children again, but they will never forget the moment when they left those poor taco shells in tears.
I hope you liked this story! I am sorry to say that this is, in fact, a true story. Look at our world people, look at it, and cry.
